Over time it returned in herringbone, in checks, in grey tweed. This season it arrives in linen. The coat has never been redesigned. It has simply continued.

The same is true of the Gale Blazer, which started in tweed and now exists in linen. The Ramblas trousers began in tweed and return this season in linen. The Nerissa blouse, originally in linen, has expanded into merino wool — and the same structure that defines the blouse has grown into the Nerissa dress. The Kate Dress, first made in navy tweed, now exists in multiple tweeds, wools and linens.
